What comes to mind when you see the word pure or purity?
Is it the color white? Is it obstanation? Is it perfect?
If you look through my earlier posts i have made I have done one on covenants...I was hoping it would help lead up to this.
I have made a covenant to God that my first kiss will be on the day of my wedding, now this is my covenant i am not saying that i think it is totally wrong to kiss someone before you are married. I just wanna save my very first kiss to be with my husband on my wedding day. I have also made a covenant to stay pure until my wedding night that is my covenant that I have made with him that I will keep. Most kids say that just because we are Christians mean that we have to have purity rings and that our parents forced our purity rings on us but that isn't true I have made the choice myself as a commitment to God and token that shows i have made that covenant with Him. There is so many verses in the bible that represent the word pure I am going to list a few
The bible talks about having a pure heart
Psalms 51:10 "Create in me a pure heart, Oh God and renew me a steadfast spirit"
Philippians 4:8 "whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-if anything is excellent of praiseworthy-think about such things"
I applaud you, sister. It's a rare thing to make such a strong commitment to TOTAL purity. <3
